This painting is my dream spirit tree. In a vision, I walked on a long beach. I passed many trees that seemed out of place. I looked up and saw myself, standing on a high cliff. On that cliff, I looked out and saw this spectacular, tentacular tree. An epic tree that is an island, with roots reaching down into the sea, becoming tentacles, reacting with creatures of the deep, while its branches envelop the surreal and reach towards other worlds and times.
