| I don’t start with a sketch, but I usually have a concept. Sometimes the meaning comes from the randomness of images that seem to go together. It is a bit of stream of consciousness for me, but it is also an exercise in trusting my own intuition & non-judgment. I am sometimes surprised at the direction that a piece of art will take. |
