Iconography is the art of creating simplified, symbolic imagery that evoke clear and concise messages. Murals are an excellent medium for this type of communication. Working on the large scale of murals is a unique opportunity for messaging and reaching a large audience– and I take that responsibility seriously. Installed at Adams Hometown Market in Monson, MA, Monson: Past, Present, Future is made up of over 52 painted panels on over 200 square feet of wall– that’s 1600 square feet, total! And every picture is a conversation. (With special thanks to the fabulously talented Melissa Stratton Pandina, my partner in the construction of this project.) Watch the mural unfold here!
